Odds & Ends
When your team wins or finishes 2nd in a tournament, create a news post about the tournament along with a team photo from the tournament with their award.
When a player gets credited for a hat trick, 3 assists in a game or a shutout, he or she gets a patch for the accomplishment . Each player is only eligible for one patch of each type per season. Please wait until the end of the season to report these accomplishments to the Registrar. Don't forget to save your scoresheets from each game to send in with the form.
Getting together as a team at someone's house, a park or even bowling can be a great way for your players to get to know one another. It's generally a good idea to schedule something early in the season.
To help defray the cost of your end of the season party, consider starting a Goal jar. Pick a parent to make a goal jar and be responsible for it throughout your season. When your team scores a goal, they'll pass the jar around and everyone throws in a quarter.
Team managers will be given access to manage your team's page on the Ducks website. This will give you the ability to enter news and scores. We highly recommend that you do not maintain a schedule outside of the Ducks website. Team practice schedules change sometimes without warning or notification and if you aren't relying on the schedule on the club's website your parents might miss a practice.
Uniforms/Warm Ups/Ducks Apparel
For new players or players who need replacement uniforms, orders will be placed by team, not individually. The team manager/coach will coordinate with R & M Hockey Supply at The Patriot Ice Center. If a player needs a jersey number or wants to change their jersey number, please have them reach out to our Registrar.
